Disguise ArtNet Project for Macbeth Underworld
A first for me - a Disguise media-server project with no video outputs! The amazing set for 'Macbeth Underworld', designed by Bruno de Lavenère, featured LED strips embedded into the floor and other on-stage elements, all moving on 4 revolves. The Disguise system was used to map different animated textures onto the LED fixtures using DMX pixel-mapping over ArtNet.
Arriving in Paris after its creation in Brussels, this contemporary opera - with music composed by Pascal Dusapin, directed by Thomas Jolly and lighting design by Antoine Travert - was another welcome opportunity for me to work with the fantastic tech teams at the Opéra Comique.
