Motion design and media server programming for a 30 metre projected stage backdrop.

I was contacted to design the graphics and animations for the projected backdrop of a medical conference. In addition to variant themes for different sessions, the client requested a 1 minute opening animation. Content was created in Illustrator & Photoshop. Animation & FX were done in After Effects, using Element3D for extrusion and animation of vector shapes. Content was rendered at 10272x1080px for the 30x3m projection.

Media playback and switching of external content windows (powerpoint presentations and live camera) was managed with Watchout, using 6-output machines for main & backup feeds.
